Hello everyone, My name is Nicholas Phillimore, me and my girlfriend have gotten a little sick of the shit that goes on in the TF2 community that we frequent, so we decided that the best idea would be to start up our own community, we don't know much about things like programming, and stuff, but I'm gonna try and learn a bit of that.
The reason I'm writing this blog is because we need help, and I'm not sure how much of it, I know a few people at least will see this blog, so I need some things, like help thinking of all of the things we will need to get the server going and how to keep it running, keep it fresh, etc.
So far, on out To-Do list on my handy white board, we have:
-Learn to program
-Earn funding money
-Find a good place to rent a server
-Find a good 3D modelling tool
-Make a map.
Now I don't have much experience with this sort of stuff, and even less money, so all I'm asking for is advice, but if anyone out there is kind enough to offer their services or knowledge for free, I would be eternally greatful, and if there is any way I find in the future to repay you(besides giving you administrative rights on the community servers), I will, so please desura, shower me with information, because being that my team is currently just me and my girlfriend, we need all the help that we can get.
